 JJ Feild was raised around London but travelled to the States a lot to see family and friends. During his schooltime he performed in several school plays and during his A-levels he often went to pubs with his friends and played Berthold Brecht or Shakespeare.

At the age of 17 JJ travelled around Tibet as a backpacker and when he came back he started his acting education at Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art. Since 1999 JJ appeared in various TV productions and movies.

In his free time JJ loves to play golf. In october 2007 he took part in the prestigious Alfred Dunhill Links Championships in St. Andrews, Scotland. In London he loves to putt at Richmond Golf Club with friends like Ioan Gruffud and Richard Coyle.
